    Haverfordwest Cleddau Canoe Hire

The Western Cleddau winds its way southwards through Pembrokeshire to the medieval County Town of Haverfordwest. The weir in town creates an area of calm water in summer, largely unaffected by the faster flows to the north or the powerful tidal waters to the south. The river is a Special Area of Conservation and a quiet boater stands a good chance of spotting special wildlife. Kingfishers and woodpeckers can be seen on the banks of this stretch and otters use the area regularly.

    Pembroke Castle Boat Hire

The imposing 13th century castle stands on a rocky outcrop defended on three sides by the tidal Pembroke river. At the end of the 20th century a tidal barrage was constructed, maintaining the lake even at low tide. Come down and hire one of our beautiful rowing boats to see the castle from a very different perspective. Whether you want to see the huge walls from their base or just relax on the calm lake waters, come and take a boat out with us.
